I had a wonderful time with Bunloed and his family. The bungalows are cosy and settled in a beautyful garden next to the rice paddies.
They are lots of amazing places to visit from there and the owners will happily help you to organise your activities and transportation.
I highly recommend this place if your looking for some laidback atmosphere and wild nature !

    Bonjour,

We spent three days with my friends at Angelina and Bunloed's, it was an incredible and unforgettable weekend! A lovely, friendly couple, passionate about where they live and happy to share moments with you as if you were part of the family. The bungalows are great, the village is charming and the locals are extremely warm and ready to share some moments with you. Bunloed took us for a whole day trekking in the reserve, the scenery is breathtaking and he is a very good guide. The surprises are endless, the meals were excellent! Thanks again to you Angelina and Bunloed, not to forget the sweet little Rose who is as adorable as her parents

I came to stay with Bunloed and Angelina for 3 days last February and ended up staying a week I enjoyed it it so much.. I have just returned from a second visit and it was like revisiting old frien d's , including meeting others who had also been staying last year and had also returned. There are plenty of places to visit in the area and I was still finding new places on my second visit . Having your own transport is certainly helpful but even if you don't have it ,there are nice walks from the homestay or you can go further afield on a bicycle or just relax in a hammock . Although there is no water in the waterfalls in February , there are places in the river where you can safely swim . If you are travelling along the Mekong ( which I can certainly recommend ) then I am sure you will enjoy stopping off for a few days at Bunloed's and may well end up staying longer than you planned !

Stayed overnight at Bunloed and Angelina's homestay and I already want to go back! The homestay is nestled up right next to Phu Wua Wildlife Sanctuary so you are surrounded by nature and a serene environment. Bunloed and Angelina were so welcoming and kind and made me feel at home. The dinner they cooked for everyone was delicious! Coming from the city hearing the sounds of nature at night were a welcome relief to the cars and barking dogs :) Thank you so much! Will come back to see you again!

I wanted to stay for a couple of days and ended up by 23. Bunloed and Angelina (and of course Rose) made me feel at home immediately. They’re very nice, welcoming, warm hearted, generous people. The food is excellent (zep), ask Bunloed to prepare Laap Mu!!!!!!!or fried rice!!!!!!!!(probably the best you can get in Thailand) or if your stomach feels homesick ask Angelina for crepes!!!!!!!!!! or rosemary chicken!!!!!!!!!!
The Bungalows are a travellers dream. A comfy mattress, a mosquito net, a cold shower and a nice veranda with a hammock to look over the rice fields. The garden with orchids, rambutan and pomelo trees is stunning.
The surrounding is amazing. Trekking in Phu Wua and explore the trails, Wat Phu Tok, waterfalls, Phu Langka, Phu Singh, spend a night in a cave or on top of Phu Singh, walk through the village or along the Mekong,.............
So spend a couple of days in paradise.
A BIG THANK YOU TO YOU.
    For sure I’ll be back.

Our family stay with Bun and Angelina was one of the highlights of our recent visit to Thailand. We were made so welcome we felt at home straight away in their beautiful home and garden. They accommodated our various food requirements, making delicious meals, gave us information on places to explore with their bikes and picked up/dropped off at the bus stop on the main road. Bun’s guided walk through the wildlife sanctuary was excellent. We can’t wait to return.

Bunloed and his family were very friendly and accommodating. The village is lovely, as is the homestay, and his family is great. When we arrived, they offered us lots of rambutan fruit from their trees. We drove around the Phu Wua sanctuary on our motorbike, and when we came back, Bunloed's niece made us a delicious Thai dinner. Sleeping in the bungalow was great; we were surrounded by nature sounds, protected by a mosquito net, and awoke to the sound of rain in the rice paddy. It was so relaxing.

Will remember my six days there with Bunloed and Angelina! It was perfect! They are great people and hosts! My bungalow was clean and nicely furnished - you can easily unpack your bag. I loved the outside with the bench and the hamac on the bungalow balcony. And the food was always good and diverse ( green curry miammiam) !! Miss you both already

Merci encore, et see you soon of course!

Stayed here for 5 memorable days in November.
The Bungalows are clean and comfortable
The food was the best that I've had since arriving in Thailand 7 weeks ago.
Bunloed and Angelina are very kind, friendly and genuine....you do feel like your at home.
Bunloed's knowledge of the local area is second to none. So take the opportunity to explore the region or just walk around the village. Someone will always stop and attempt to talk, so they can practice their English.

Hey Bunloed, i hope you will see my message, i'm a French guy who past time with you, Angelina, Andy and his girlfriend and 2 germans, it was a great moment with them.
Lovely place, prices really cheap and around the village I enjoyed.
We went to the waterfall with your brother or nephew, we spent a good time. What else ?
I remember playing in the school with childrens some afternoons or this curious ceremony at school in order to give some flowers and gifts to the teachers. I was so shy to receive like them some flowers hahahahahaha..
Thank you man, sure i will come back to visit you.

Bunloed's is a fantastic place to stay - and chill out. I only had time for one night there but if it's quiet you're after stay a week. Bunloed is a really good guy, interesting to talk to and helpful. The other guests were fun. Great atmosphere and the communal kitchen rocks!

I have stayed with Mr Bunloed several times in the last 3 years and will not miss visiting him every time we visit Thailand. He manages to find something new to show us on every visit.
The waterfalls are my favorite places!
    Thanks Mr Bunloed and Angelina.
    See you in December!

I was there with 3 friends last May and i can say it is the best homestay ever ! Bunloed is so welcoming that you really feel like home. It is a real pleasure to share with him the meals he cooks and discover Issan food (just don't forget to ask meals a little bit less spicy than what he is used to cook for himself ;) ).
The place is absolutely gorgeous and you could spend your time just relaxing in a hammock on your balcony and enjoying the scenery.
Bunloed is also the perfect guide to discover the region as he knows every corner. You can ask him anything about wildlife or vegetation, he always get the answer !
For sure i will go back there one day ... and maybe earlier than expected ;)

Staying with Bunloed, in Kham pia was by far the best part of our year long trip abound the world. We were able to immerse ourselves in Isan culture when we were invited to join different celebrations within the village or relax on the balcony of our bungalow watching the planting of the rice fields. Bunloed is the host with the most and we can't wait to return.
